IwB Featured in the Toronto Impact Report!
The Toronto Foundation is well known for its Vital Signs Report, which is an annual consolidated snapshot identifying the trends and issues affecting the quality of life in Toronto.
In 2014-15 the Toronto Foundation released “Giving at Home: Toronto Impact Report“, which gives an overview of the Foundation’s work and philanthropic model.
Featured in this report is the Toronto Foundation’s partnership with the IwB on the Our City within a Park Design Charrette. Over 200 international students, academics, and design professionals participated in the charrette looking at ways to activate Toronto’s under-used ravine systems.
Several of the design proposals created during the charrette received awards from the City of Toronto. The IwB is currently working on a proposal for the city called RavineLine, which will utilize the charrette’s ideas.
Stay tuned for the release of RavineLine!
