Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Design Strategies in partnership with the Institute of Art, Design & Technology, Dún Laoghaire (IADT) in Ireland

 

IwB alumni and students who have successfully completed the Interdisciplinary Design Strategy Post-Graduate Certificate through the School of Design at George Brown College, may now apply for advanced entry into this unique Master’s program at IADT. Students complete an additional three modules in Ireland over the Fall semester (Final Project Proposal, Final Charrette and Final Project), and defend in the Winter.

MA in IDS Program Summary

Solving the most prominent economic or cultural challenges requires a strategic approach to design and problem-solving. Through collaborative practices, the programme provides candidates with a systematic and in-depth knowledge of integrated design strategies. Students will develop critical awareness and employ advanced design methodologies.

The programme responds to the needs of industry for graduates with the required combination of knowledge, skills, and competencies to work within interdisciplinary teams in the broader design, technology, and professional services sectors.

Program length: 4 months for IwB graduates (advanced entry in September following the IwB IDS program completion in June)
Program cost: 4,250 Euros (for IwB graduates)
Entry requirements: Completed application form, CV, references, draft project proposal, academic transcript(s)
