RISE: George Brown College School of Design Year End Show 2018

RISE: George Brown College School of Design Year End Show 2018

On Saturday, April 28 (3:00-8:00PM) students from George Brown College’s nine School of Design programs will be exhibiting their work at RISE– the 2018 Year End Show! With excellent graphic design work, engaging immersive environments, and a series of intriguing video games, the evening will celebrate the culmination of talent and dedication exhibited by our student body.

Highlights of this year’s show include:

The School of Design will showcase work on two floors including final thesis projects, video games, and immersive environments from our wide-range of design programs. An entire floor dedicated to our graphic design program– featuring the best in both corporate design and advertising. Video games created exclusively by our students in the Game Design, Game Development, Game Programming and Concept Art for Entertainment programs. A series of immersive environments and interactive projects from our Interaction Design students, alongside our Interactive Media Management post-grads.

The 2018 Year End Show identity RISE was developed by Design Management alum Claudia El-moor.
RISE is part of ShowGBC, a series of events showcasing talent from the 2018 graduating students across George Brown’s Centre for Arts, Design and Information Technology.
