Future Ways of Living Charrette – Milan, Italy!

The IwB is heading to Milan, ITALY!

Future Ways of Living Design Charrette
Milan, Italy
June 2015

The IwB students, alumni, staff and faculty are heading to Milan for a charrette looking at how new media technologies impact ‘future ways of living.’

The Institute without Boundaries and Meet the Media Guru will host a living lab (charrette) this summer that explores how new media technologies will impact our daily lives over the next 10 years. This unique charrette will take place in Milan, Italy in tandem with events planned for Milan’s Expo (World’s Fair), including Expo in Citta and “The Virtuous Circle,” the Cumulus Conference on Design Culture and Experimentation.

The charrette is a collaboration with two core academic partners; the School of Design of Politecnico di Milano and the Cumulus International Association. It is also supported by the City of Toronto, City of Milan and the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario, building upon the sister-city partnership between Toronto and Milano.

Join us for these events in Milan!

Guru Days: June 11-12

Hosted by the Institute without Boundaries, this event will also take place at the Mediateca, and will engage over 60 participants from various academic and professional backgrounds to co-develop, envision and design how technologies can change our lives over the next 10 years. The charrette results will be captured in a documentary and publication.
