World House Systems Timeline

The World House Systems Timeline, identified 12 systems that are needed in every home regardless of location and culture: water, food, waste, construction, air handling, energy, finance, mobility, communication, as well as social, spatial and identity aspects. The Systems Timeline groups these 12 systems into four mega housing systems of: terrain, climate, economy, and culture.

Each piece of the the Systems Timeline presents a different system and its historical, present day, and anticipated future relevance in our homes and how we live. Thoughts and theories are also paired to existing precedents from around the world.
