Summary:
Toronto is a city of cultural diversity. 75% of all residents over the age of 15 are first and second generation immigrants. Between 2001 and 2005, the City welcomed 69,000 new immigrants and over 10,000 foreign students. This video introduces three of these individuals, how they lived back home, how they were then living in Toronto, and how they would adapt a floorplan of a hypothetical, prefabricated ‘first home’ to accommodate their current and future lives in the City.
