Public and Collaborative: Exploring the Intersection of Design, Social Innovation and Public Policy
A book edited by Ezio Manzini and Eduardo Staszowski, includes 11 essays that document and present reflections on efforts of DESIS Labs in Europe, Canada, and the United States that are participating in the Public and Collaborative Thematic Cluster. The publication proposes a broad view of how design is entering the public realm and the policy making processes.
Chapter 3 of the publication features, “Innovation without Boundaries: Ecology of Innovation and Municipal Service Design,” an essay by Luigi Ferrara and Magdalena Sabat that reviews the Institute’s work on the COLAB and Our Dublin projects.
